Introductory Observational Astronomy Course
The Society offers a six-week Introductory Observational Astronomy Course beginning the first weeks of April and September. The popular course, now in its 43rd year, has helped more than 1,000 enthusiasts enjoy the night and daytime sky. Classes are held on six consecutive Wednesdays from 7 to 9 PM, followed by information observing with telescopes, weather permitting.at our Edward Naylor Observatory, near Lewisberry, PA.
The course is open to those 14 and older and pre-registration is required. Cost is $45 and includes a copy of Peterson's Field Guide to Stars & Planets, an Edmund Star & Planet Locator planisphere and an ESSCO Star Chart. To register, send a check made out to ASH to:
