The Cherry Springs Star Party:
2008 Public Viewing Night during the star party
Cherry Springs State Park requires that there be a Public Viewing Night during the star party when the public is allowed to visit astronomers for a couple of hours on Saturday night of the star party. We need volunteers who are willing to share their view of the sky during this time. If you are interested in participating, please contact Dark Sky Fund Director, Maxine Harrison, to get your name on the volunteer list. This activity will conclude at 10:30 pm.

2008 Cherry Springs Star Party Registration
There are two ways to register for the 2008 Cherry Springs Star Party. The paper registration form, which is in PDF format and requires Adobe Acrobat reader to view, is available. The electronic registration requires you to have a PayPal account. Please note, that once we reach 500 person registered for the star party, we will close registration.

Full Time Student Registration: $27 USD
To register as a full time student: you will be asked to present a current student ID at check in, if you cannot present one, you must pay the remainder of an individual registration at the check in desk.
Individual Registration: $37 USD
If you are registering for more than one person, please list their names by emailing the Astronomical Society so that we may have an accurate tally of the people attending.
Family Registration: $52 USD
Please list the names of persons you are bringing by emailing the Astronomical Society so that we may have an accurate tally of the people attending.
Electronic registration will close on May 10, 2008. Registration using the paper forms will close on May 17, 2008. (unless we have reached 500 persons registered.)
