Mission

The purpose of the society is to promote interest in astronomy through education and observation of the heavens. The society is a non-profit organization and draws its members from the general public. There are approximately 110 members with a wide variety in interests and background in astronomy. These include basic astronomical observation, astrophotography, comet hunting, meteorics, and planetary sciences among many things.

Current Fees

  1. Student (8th grade to age 18 or college students age 18 to 24 with a current Student ID from a College or University): $15.00

  2. Regular (18 and up): $35.00

  3. Family: $50.00

  4. Contributing: $50.00

  5. Sustaining: $75.00

  6. Supporting: $100.00

  7. Corporate: $250.00

  8. Sponsor: $500.00

  9. Life: $1,000.00
